So.CRICKET fever is back...it's about to hit in two days in the form of IPL..once again those huge crowd,world class players,energatic youths..all comes in one place..it can be called the greatest show of domestic t20 cricket..IPL-a player gets everything he can dream of..name,fame,money ,glory.above all of these chance to put their feet into the shoes of international cricket..IPL is all about entertainment..those gigantic sixes,sexy cheer leader,filmstars all arive on the ground to get the warmth of 40 overs of absorbing nail-biting cricket...all eyes will be on AB,gayle storm,virat,pollard..and so many devastating batsmen..Kkr suppporters will breath a sigh of relief as their premium mystery bowler Narine gets the license to play..whose mystery yet to be unlocked..DD,KXIP,RCB are the strong contenders this time..KKR will have to play their level best to retain the gold..they have always come up with some surprising elements..narine,kuldeep,sakib..KKR and RR have a tenacity to polish uncut diamonds..which is very good for thr game..this format definately not for the bowlers..small boundries,fielding restriction all sums up into their pain..but overall it is a thirlling adventure for 4 hours..

has IPL become just a money hunting game?

INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE -concept of MR. LALIT MODI,the domestic Indian cricket league has become nothing but a entertainment package and money earning exposure for the players, sponsors and the team owners.
in the IPL a player gets everything that he can dream about-money, glamour,chances to attain pg3 parties and above all,chance to put their feet into the shoe of international cricket.
At the beginning IPL was formed based on the idea that the domestic players will get a chance to interact with the international players and will get enriched by sharing their experiences on the field.but as days go by it has become nothing but a money producing game for the players so distinctly that the international players don't back-down to put their international career in question by hiding their injuries and play for their respective IPL teams to earn huge bucks.for this money hunting nature of the players the national team suffers for not having their crucial players at the urgent time because of injuries.
as an example Gambhir played for KKR by hiding injuries and Sehwag played for Delhi daredevils instead of going under medical treatment for his injury.from which he was suffering from during India's world cup campaign.For this India missed the vital service of viru in the lord's test. Players should keep in mind that they are famous for showing their potential for their country not for their club.
Now the most important question arise-WHAT SHOULD BE THE FIRST PRIORITY TO THE PLAYER COUNTRY OR CLUB?

India get outplayed by england,as the home side goes 1-0 up in the 5 match series

As usual India looks uncomfortable in English seaming condition and failed to leave up-to their fans expectation and goes 1-0down in the NPOWER 5 test match series.nothing goes right for Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni except from winning the toss.The excludation of Zahir Khan because of an hamstring injury was the body blow for Indian cricket team as he was the spear head of Indian bowling attack for last few years. Zahir took two early wickets before leaving the ground,but the others failed to create an impact as the English batsmen took the full toll of diretionless bowling by Ishant and Harbhajan.Kevin Peterson was in the mood of slaughtering as he played his strokes all over the ground and reached to double ton and made the 100th test between these two countries  memorable for him,wicket keeper Matt prior made a quick 71 to give the momentum,england required.The only bowler Praveen Kumar seemed to be in control of his bowling and he took his maiden five wicket hall and gave the Indian supporters something to cheer about.captain cool seemed to be run out of his ideas and surprisingly Harbhajan Singh constantly bowled from round the wicket in a negative channel and failed to create any kind of impact as he eliminated the chances of getting  LBW by bowling from round the wicket.  the end of day two england posted a mammoth 474. India made 6 runs for loss of no wicket at the end of the day.At the beginning of third day it was up-to the experienced Gautam Gambhir and fresher Mukund to give a steady start.their bonding is being broken by the lanky pacer Stuart Broad after they put a 63 runs opening stand.Gambhir got bowled by an in-swinger by broad and later the pace man took mukund in the same manner when he tried to play a ball away from his body and find his furniture disturbed and out for 49,1 short of his half century.then came THE WALL Rahul Dravid,even he looked shaky at the starting stage.he and his partner Sachin Tendulker who was in search for his 100 th century and his maiden at Lords.SACHIN looked to be in great touch as he played some glorious shots,at 34 he got an pitch of a delivery from broad and got out at slip,caught by Swan.after that Laxman flicked a ball at leg stamp and got himself out in the deep fine leg Raina got out without troubling the scorers..the combination of pace and swing from the English pacers gave the Indian batsmen a lot of trouble as the Indian inning got wrapped out for just 286 and felt well short of 188 runs. Rahul Dravid was the lonely survival as he made 103 gave the Indian inning some respectability.broad took 4 wickets for 37 and Anderson and Tremlett shared 5 wickets between them.
at the 2nd inning Praveen Kumar made the early breakthrough as he got the edge of Cook.then the tall lanky pace Ishant Sharma took the heart out of the English batters and got three quick scalps.but after the lunch session Dhoni missed the plot and took ishant out of the attack and gave the English batsmen prior and Morgan a breather and they made a 40 run stand between them before Morgan got out by a short stuff by ishant.after that prior and broad batted brilliantly and posted a 150 plus run partnership as well as Matt prior made a magnificent 100.england declared at 269 for 6 and gave India an improbable target of 458.rahul Dravid had to play an unfamiliar role of opening the inning because of the the absence of Gambhir as he was in severe pain in his hand by getting hit  by Prior at short leg while fielding.mukund could not repeat his 1st inning show as he got out for 12 by broad. Dravid and Laxman endure the venom of English attack for the rest of the day, India was 80 for 1 at the end of day 4.
It was clear that India will play for draw,as Rahul and Laxman tried to steady the ship by taking singles and hitting occasional boundaries.but English pace trio maintained their hostile bowling and Anderson got the dangerman Dravid,later Laxman tried to hit a short ball and caught  at mid wicket by Anderson.swan got Gambhir's leg before wicket.Sachin played in a defensive manner and out cheaply at 12 by a out swinger bowled by the nemesis Anderson.the rest of the batsmen did not apply themselves,tried to play too many shots and got in and got out. Raina was battling hard but he was running out of partners.he made a crucial 73 but could not rescue his team from loss as Indian 2nd inning folded for 261 runs. Anderson took his 11 th 5 wicket haul for 65 and Tremlett took 3 wickets to give the required support.
Kevin Peterson was named man of the match for his invaluable knock of 202.
so the 2000 th test match in history and 100 th test match between India and England was dominated by the home side right through the 5 days and they clinched the victory by putting up some professional batting by the English batsmen and the lethal hostile bowling by English bowlers.
The next test will be held at Trentbridge and that will be another test for Indian batsmen.
